latest UPI updates proposed by RBI to improve safety and prevent fraud.
Key changes include a 1-hour delay for UPI transfers above ₹10,000 (person-to-person), giving users time to cancel if it’s a scam. There’s also extra protection for senior citizens, including approval for high-value transactions above ₹50,000.RBI is also planning a “Kill Switch” feature, allowing users to instantly disable UPI payments during emergencies like fraud, SIM swap, or phone theft.
